While it has not been easy going for Spain, they have at least been able to rely on the genuine inside-outside threat of Andrea Vilaro.

Taking time out from the race for MVP and trying to book a place in the semi-finals, the wing player kindly caught up with FIBA Europe.

FIBA Europe: What was the last book that you read?

Vilaro: Flickan som lekte med elden (Millenium 2) by Stieg Larsson

FIBA Europe: If you were only allowed to visit one website for the rest of your life what would it be?

FIBA Europe: What is your favourite memory on the court and also off the court?

Vilaro: Being league champions with my team in 06/07 and off the court when it is my Birthday

FIBA Europe: What do you miss most about being away from home?

Vilaro: Definitely my bed and my family but also the cooking and food of my grandmother!

FIBA Europe: Who is your idol and if you could change places with anybody in the world for one day who would it be?

Vilaro: My idol is Allen Iverson but I would most like to change places with Marta Xargay as she won the silver medal and MVP in the U19 World Championships in Thailand earlier this year.

FIBA Europe: What do you do after a game?

Vilaro: I always say hello to my parents and I try to explain how I feel

FIBA Europe: What has been you biggest fashion disaster?

Vilaro: I once cut my hair like a mushroom!

FIBA Europe: What numbers do you wear and why?

Vilaro: I usually wear either 13, 9 or 5. I use these three numbers in different moments because it is important for some other people

Vilaro: Because my grandfather played basketball
